Remembering Elijah Clark

120 years after his death, isn’t it time we remember a man who was lynched before his trial even began?

Last week, two of our members met at the approximate site where Elijah Clark was lynched and began to discuss the next steps for a small ceremonial soil collection to take place. Because the nation is largely shut down due to the spread of the coronavirus, our efforts have been markedly hindered. However, we remain deeply committed to the goals of this project and are eager to more forward as soon as it is safe to do so.
